Terms of use

One account belongs to one person. Keep your sign-in to yourself: anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us straight away at contact@ingroenergy.com if you think someone else has access to it.

The details you give us — name, company, phone, email — need to be accurate, because they are printed on the reports you export and used on your invoices.

• Every account starts on a free trial. When it ends, pick a plan to keep creating projects; existing projects stay readable.
• Plans are prepaid for the period shown at checkout, and prices are in Indian Rupees exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
• Activation follows verification of your payment by our team, which is not instant — you will see the status on the Transactions page.
• Plans do not auto-renew silently. When one ends you choose again.
• Payments already made are not refundable once a plan period has begun, except where the law requires otherwise. If something has gone wrong, write to us — we would rather fix it than argue about it.

Sims is a simulation tool. Its outputs — generation, savings, payback, tariff comparisons, emissions — are modelled estimates produced from the inputs you supply and from third-party weather and irradiance data. They are not a guarantee of performance, a financial promise, or a substitute for a detailed engineering design or professional advice.

Real sites differ from models: metering, shading, degradation, tariff revisions, equipment behaviour and regulation all move the answer. Check the assumptions before you rely on a result, and treat anything you present to a customer or a lender as your own work, for which you remain responsible.

The projects, consumption files, branding and reports you create stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them so we can run the product for you — nothing more. We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics about how Sims is used to improve it.

Reports you export carry your branding and go out under your name. Making sure what you send a customer is correct is your call, not ours.

Please do not:

• Share one account between several people, or resell access to Sims.
• Upload data you have no right to upload, including a customer’s consumption data you were not given permission to use.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or automate against the product outside the interface we provide.
• Try to reach another account’s data, or interfere with the service for anyone else.

We may suspend an account that does any of these, and we will say why when we do.

We aim to keep Sims running and improving, but we do not promise uninterrupted service: maintenance happens, and so do outages upstream of us. Features change as the product develops. If a change removes something you depend on, we will give you notice in the app where we reasonably can.

To the extent the law allows, Ingro Energy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost contracts, or decisions taken on the basis of a modelled result. Our total liability in connection with Sims is limited to what you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

You can stop using Sims at any time and ask us to close your account. We may end access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or if required by law. When an account closes, we remove data as described in the privacy policy and keep only the billing records we are obliged to keep.

Sims is operated by Ingro Energy Pvt Ltd (CIN U35109DL2024PTC436745), A-23, First Floor, Green Park Extension, New Delhi 110016. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of New Delhi have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
